Before the meeting with TS Galaxy Queens, Sundowns Ladies approached the fixture with attacking confidence and a strong defensive platform. The early results were encouraging, but the message from within the squad remained grounded: train well, execute the plan and treat the next match as the only target.
Process over noise
Kgomotso Mussimango and Jabulile Mbatha pointed to focus, unity and discipline as the team’s working principles. The ambition to extend the run mattered, but not at the expense of the habits behind it.
The match was scheduled for 12 July at Mpumalanga Stadium, with a 15:00 kick-off and national broadcast on SABC1. Sundowns would go on to win 2–0 and make it five victories from five.
