Mamelodi Sundowns and PUMA reveal the 2026/27 home kit — the first shirt in club history to carry two CAF Champions League stars.
The new strip arrives after the club’s second continental triumph in May 2026. It turns that achievement into a visible standard: two stars above the crest, set against the unmistakable yellow of the Brazilians.
History, re-engineered
The design looks back to the shirt worn in 1994, when Sundowns appeared on the cover of the first edition of Kick Off magazine. Yellow is paired with blue shorts and white socks, while red PUMA marks, a fine green collar detail and subtle tonal stripes update the reference for a new generation.

Champions, past and present
The launch campaign connects the current team with the figures who built the legacy. Grant Kekana, Thapelo Morena, Malibongwe Khoza and Kutlwano Letlhaku appear alongside club greats Daniel “Mambush” Mudau, Roger Feutmba and Hlompho Kekana.
The authentic match shirt uses PUMA’s lightweight ULTRAWEAVE construction, an athletic cut, dryCELL and ThermoAdapt technology. Replica shirts use recycled polyester and are cut for everyday support.
Release data
The collection goes on sale on 31 July 2026 through PUMA, major sports retailers and the official club retail network. Authentic shirts are listed at R2,399; adult replicas at R1,299; and junior replicas at R1,199.
